The Plaza, just outside the Science Center, is morphing into an exceptional venue. Surface work on the Plaza has been completed in conjunction with the City of Cambridge, which is making structural repairs and utility infrastructure improvements to the Cambridge Street tunnel beneath. This important work has resulted in safer pedestrian and bike access across the Plaza, while providing a variety of informal seating areas and a flexible, open space that can be enjoyed by the campus and the community.
